A 3-dimensional format engages all of the elements of design and creates the challenge of composing within a rotating, imaginary canvas.  Learning to weld was a fun and exciting experience.  The most dangerous aspect of welding was building things that were nearly impossible to transport...then trying to find a place for them once I got home.
